The introduction of color, light, movement, and composition through stained glass windows further define and enhance a worship space's sacred character. This light, as a medium, expresses the intangible sense of the sacred and in such light we gain a sense of the deeply meaningful things we cannot touch, yet completely surround us and fill our lives.

Amber Spectrum Windows, Prince of Peace Abbey Church, Oceanside CA. These are walls of glass, color, and dynamic movement that flood the gray monochromatic interior of the monastic church with warmth and life.
A facetted stained glass window is a pure color medium that uniquely refracts light, like a prism, and so fills the interior space with the beauty of color and dancing light.
The following is a series of new very large facetted stained glass windows integrating elements of separate older traditional leaded glass figures into a combined composition celebrating the Communion of all Saints surrounding the worship space interior between the Light of a New Day and Its Starry Night.
Communion of Saints: Light of New Day
Communion of Saints Windows: Starry Night of New Day
These are part of a series of eight windows that form a ribbon of movement stretching across the nave and apse wall of a worship space. A pure clear facetted stain glass has the appearance of melting ice; this image is a poor reflection of the beauty of the windows.
We often relegate our spirituality to matters of the rational mind, without realizing it dwells in the soul. Nature has a way of manifesting simple trues with clarity. Often, what is most beautiful about our spiritual heritage is also most organic in its ability to address and speak to the universal concerns of all humanity and of all Creation.
